The Rural Health Resource Center, an arm of the College of Community Health Sciences, is dedicated to bringing “in house” resources into the hands of the rural practicing physician.
Our commitment is to respond to stated needs of the physician in Alabama towns through a variety of ways such as easier library use, availability of popular lectures, patient education, and to foster better communication between physicians. This “work in progress” is our attempt to continue to support your fine efforts.

The Student Health Center is your medical home at the University of Alabama. We are ready to serve all of your primary health care needs. Our staff includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, health educators, dietary health consultants, mental health providers, and technical and administrative staff members. Staff physicians have special expertise in pediatrics and adolescent medicine, family practice, and preventive medicine as well as providing services in women’s health and radiology.
Evidence of our commitment to maintain high standards of quality of care and our position as a center of excellence for student health services, The Student Health Center has been fully accredited since 1995 by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare.
